Larger Views. Smaller Footprint.
Our steel-frame sliding doors offer superior strength and finer sightlines, allowing for larger glass surfaces with less obstructed views than other metal sliding door systems. With a range of available panel depths, architects have greater freedom on multi-panel stacking or pocketing door designs.
Citadel’s large steel sliding doors support their expansive glass openings with nearly invisible sightlines starting at 1-1/2″. Meanwhile, integrated thermal breaks ensure superior energy efficiency and certified U-values as low as 0.25.
The CWD 72, 85 and SL30-ISO lift-and-slide doors allow entire walls of glass to be opened to the exterior in different configurations, such as a 360-degree corner or pocketed design leading to a patio. This creates a seamless integration between interior and exterior space.
Our lift-and-slide door systems can accommodate glass panels up to 900 lbs. in weight, with optional acoustic and bulletproof glass up to 2-3/8″ thick. A precise fit between the subtle rail tracks, glass door panels and steel frames allows for effortless sliding, either manually or with an available motorized system.
Citadel’s steel-frame sliding doors are available in various materials, profile depths, sightlines, system configurations, finishes, and hardware. Designers can use this flexibility to complement modern, transitional and contemporary architecture, whether it is luxury residential, commercial or industrial.
